L’obiettivo del corso è fornire agli studenti gli strumenti linguistici essenziali per la comprensione e la produzione di testi relativi all'Inglese scientifico in campo medico, nonché il consolidamento della correttezza formale e della fluenza del discorso nello sviluppo delle abilità comunicative e del linguaggio specialistico (ESP - English for Special Purposes) in ambito professionale.

Lezioni in lingua inglese con utilizzo di PPT e materiale autentico di argomenti medico-scientifico. Lavori individuali e di gruppo per l'analisi e la produzione di testi specialistici.

based approaches to medical language and communication. Giappichelli, Turin (MANDATORY TEXTBOOK).

The course objective is to provide students with the linguistic skills to understand, produce, and analyse scientific texts in the medical field, emphasizing also the oral communicative skills and the ESP competence, both relevant to the contexts addressed in the course.

General English Level B2 CEFR

Lessons in English using PPT and authentic material on medical-scientific topics. Individual and group work for the analysis and production of specialist texts.

Oral exam dealing with the course and textbook contents (Tessuto 2024) as specified in the syllabus.
