Formazione medica per la prevenzione, diagnosi e cura delle malattie attraverso la classificazione clinica dei vari sistemi.

Lo studente dovrà avere acquisito i concetti fondamentali delle discipline di base della patologia,
della biochimica, nonchè della fisiologia.

L'insegnamento viene svolto mediante attività praticai con verifica della frequenza da parte degli
studenti. Le lezioni prevedono un ampio spazio di interazione con gli studenti, che vengono
stimolati alla partecipazione diretta. Le lezioni pratiche saranno esclusivamente in presenza . Vengono
effettuate verifiche dell' apprendimento alla fine del corso.
Attività pratica verrà svolta presso i laboratori del CENTRO TRASFUSIONALE
DELL' UNIVERSITà VANVITELLI E PRESSO IL LABORATORIO DI EMERGENZA ANALISI

L'esame sarà basato sulla comprensione dei percorsi logici, e su domande per le quali sarà richiesta un'adeguata conoscenza delle malattie trattate durante le lezioni.
Risposte non date, fuori tema o generiche saranno considerate elementi di insufficienza. La lode sarà proposta collettivamente agli studenti che dimostreranno una conoscenza oltre quella richiesta dal corso.
La valutazione mediante test a risposta multipla prevede 1 punto per le esatte, 0 punti per le errate e per le non risposte. L’esame è superato con una votazione complessiva uguale o superiore a 18/30. Viene data la possibilità agli studenti che hanno superato la prova scritta di sostenere un colloquio orale
per valutare la loro capacità di effettuare collegamenti tra gli argomenti oggetto dell’esame e migliorare la performance dello scritto.

The field is interested in scientific and educational-training activities, as well as the related health care in the field of Clinical Pathology with particular reference to laboratory medicine, immunohematology, genetic pathology and diagnostics in human pathology.

The field is interested in scientific and educational-training activities, as well as the related health care in the field of Clinical Pathology with particular reference to laboratory medicine, immunohematology, genetic pathology and diagnostics in human pathology.

The purpose of the course is to provide to the student with knowledge on the causes and pathogenesis of diseases, to understand how different etiological agents can cause a pathological state through common basic mechanisms. At the end of the course the student must demonstrate that he has acquired a basic preparation that will allow him to understand the principles that affect the field of Clinical Pathology. In particular, to know in depth:
• the molecular mechanisms underlying the inflammatory response and the characteristics of the different types of inflammation;
• the physiology of the immune system and its role in the generation of the disease state;
• the molecular mechanisms that cause neoplastic transformation and the morphological and biochemical characteristics of neoplastic tissues;
• pathological conditions caused by vascular changes.

The student must have acquired the fundamental concepts of the basic disciplines of pathology,of biochemistry, as well as physiology

Teaching is carried out through face-to-face practical activity with students verifying attendance. Lectures include ample space for interaction with students, who are stimulated to direct participation. They have conducted tests of 'learning at the end of the course.Practical activity
will be made in Transfusion Center of Vanvitelli University

The exam will be based on understanding the logical pathways, and on questions where an appropriate knowledge of the treated diseases during the lessons will be required.
