Al termine del corso lo studente sarà in grado di trasformare le nozioni teoriche di fisiopatologia e anatomia chirurgica in abilità pratiche e decisionali. AUTONOMIA DI GIUDIZIO.

Al termine del corso lo studente sarà in grado di gestire il paziente in modo completo, dalla diagnosi al trattamento chirurgico

Conoscenza dell'anatomia e fisiologia degli organi e apparati. Conoscenza dei meccanismi fisiopatologici dell'infiammazione e cancerogenesi

Il corso si svolgerà mediante lezioni frontali interattive; le metodologie didattiche includono il clinical teaching, il problem-based learning, e il decision making.
Per accedere all'esame di profitto, lo studente deve avere almeno il 75% di presenze

La valutazione della competenza degli studenti si basa sull' esame orale (viva voce). L'esame orale copre tutti gli aspetti della teoria Etica in Chirurgia Generale. Lo studente deve essere in grado di discutere sul tema in esame ed essere in grado di collegare e analizzare i diversi argomenti. Le domande riguardano gli aspetti fondamentali dell' Etica in Chirurgia Generale, nonché gli aspetti principali delle procedure diagnostiche. Le domande saranno specifiche per valutare la conoscenza di base del tema. Inoltre, lo studente deve avere una profonda conoscenza delle condizioni emotive e morali che guidano alle scelte chirurgiche più comuni. Al fine di testare l'acquisizione di questa capacità allo studente sarà chiesto di risolvere un semplice problema clinico comportamentale orientato. La valutazione di idoneità finale è conseguita se si raggiunge l’idoneità in tutti i moduli dei Corso integrato

The student will have to acquire knowledge about ethical and moral principles in the surgical clinic, and in the indications for surgery and ethical implications in the choice of the most common surgical techniques.
APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING.
At the end of the course, the student will be able to transform the theoretical notions of pathophysiology and surgical anatomy into practical and decision-making skills. MAKING JUDGEMENTS.
At the end of the course, the student will be able to critically analyze real or simulated cases, formulating differential diagnoses and proposing appropriate therapeutic options.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
At the end of the course the student will be able to explain surgical procedures, risks and benefits in a clear and understandable way.
LEARNING SKILLS.
At the end of the course, the student will be able to manage the patient comprehensively, from diagnosis to surgical treatment

Knowledge of anatomy and physiology of organs and systems. Knowledge of the physiopathological mechanisms of inflammation and carcinogenesis

Student must have at least 75% attendance to access the profit exam

The assessment of students' competence is based on the oral exam (viva voce). The oral exam covers all aspects of the theory of Ethics in General Surgery. The student must be able to discuss the topic under consideration and be able to connect and analyze the different topics. The questions concern the fundamental aspects of Ethics in General Surgery, as well as the main aspects of diagnostic procedures. The questions will be specific to assess basic knowledge of the topic. Furthermore, the student must have a deep understanding of the emotional and moral conditions that guide the most common surgical choices. In order to test the acquisition of this ability, the student will be asked to solve a simple behavioral-oriented clinical problem. The final eligibility assessment is achieved if eligibility is achieved in all modules of the Integrated Course
