Il corso di malattie infettive prevede l’apprendimento delle principali malattie infettive.
Lo studente dovrà essere in grado di conoscere le basi fisiopatologiche e le manifestazioni cliniche delle principali malattie e sindromi infettive, delle loro complicanze nonchè di stabilire un corretto iter diagnostico e terapeutico.
Nello specifico a fine corso prevediamo che lo studente:
• acquisisca gli elementi epidemiologici, clinico-anamnestici e strumentali per identificare le principali patologie infettive
• acquisisca gli elementi per valutare le principali indagini di laboratorio da impiegare per la diagnosi di malattie infettive
• acquisisca gli elementi per identificare le principali urgenze infettivologiche
• sappia indicare i principi di terapia specifica delle principali infezioni e sindromi infettive
• sia in grado di riferire le principali misure di profilassi individuale e generale relative alle malattie infettive

Conoscenza della semeiotica clinica, microbiologia e biochimica clinica

lezioni frontali con presentazione casi clinici

colloquio orale: lo studente dovrà dimostrare di aver appreso l’epidemiologia, l’eziopatogenesi, la presentazione clinica, la diagnosi e la terapia delle malattie infettive oggetto del programma del corso

The infectious diseases course involves learning about the main infectious diseases.
The student must be able to know the pathophysiological bases and clinical manifestations of the main infectious diseases and syndromes, their complications as well as to establish a correct diagnostic and therapeutic procedure.
Specifically, at the end of the course we expect that the studenti is able:
• to acquire the epidemiological, clinical-anamnestic and instrumental elements to identify the main infectious pathologies
• to acquire the elements to evaluate the main laboratory investigations to be used for the diagnosis of infectious diseases
• to acquire the elements to identify the main infectious emergencies
• to know how to indicate the principles of specific therapy for the main infections and infectious syndromes
• is able to report the main individual and general prophylaxis measures relating to infectious diseases

frontal lessons with clinical case presentations

oral interview: the student will have to demonstrate that he/she has learned the epidemiology, etiopathogenesis, clinical presentation, diagnosis and therapy of infectious diseases covered by the course program
